Chuckie Campbell & The Phaction w/ Fresh Kils & Mad Dukez at APK

Fresh Kils
From behind the boards to the stage, there's not a spot of ground Fresh Kils' prolific career hasn't touched. And its not just hip hop. Its true, you'll see Saigon, Fabolous, and Ali Shaeed Muhammed (ATCQ) grace his resume, but you'll also find the likes of Ron Sexsmith and The Buena Vista Social Club. His prowess on the MPC has seen him share the stage with many hip hop legends (Nas, De La Soul) as well as the best of the underground, winning over fans, and beat battle competitions, with his signature showmanship. The Toronto based Sound Battle Royale Champion with multiple JUNO nominations and high profile collaborations and performances still hasn't reached his ceiling. With momentum and accolades growing each year, Fresh Kils is poised for a sound system takeover unlike any we've seen in a long time.

Mad Dukez
Mad Dukez, aka Mamudu Kargbo, may be an unfamiliar name outside of the Empire State's underground circuit, but this young hip hop star is rising fast and shining bright, right out of the gate.

In 2013 Dukez teamed up with Fresh Kils and released the critically acclaimed Gettin' Gatsby, a concept album based on the novel The Great Gatsby.

Chuckie Campbell
Chuckie Campbell is an American musician, poet, fiction writer, editor, publisher, and educator who lives in Buffalo, NY. Recently, he took home both All WNY Music Awards for Best Hip Hop Performer and Best New Artist. His most recent album "More Die of Heartbreak" has garnered positive press from online and print outlets such as the Huffington Post, The Source, Young Hollywood, The Examiner, and UTG Review. When Esente Center Stage selected Chuckie Campbell as their emerging artist of the week, writer Peter Amara affirmed him as "super-lyrical" with words "that thrust" the listener "in the middle of the scenario," praising the rapper for his "intricate wordplay" and "incredibly fast flow."

His most recent project, More Die of Heartbreak, features a number of established and up-and-coming acts, such as Cappadonna and Solomon Childs, affiliates of the Wu Tang Clan, Block McCloud of Disturbia Music Group, Cole Jonique of Tate Music Group, and the Rock/Country brother/sister duo out of Nashville, TN, The Breedings. Borrowing its title from Nobel Prize winning author Saul Bellow's novel of the same name, More Die of Heartbreak is an experimental hip hop project dedicated to Ralph B. Prater, who committed suicide in March of 2011. It is a reminder that for every one person who makes it out alive more will die of heartbreak.
