The Red Rails/ Creekside Strays/ Defcon Brown

Fvck You Too Productions is proud to present Ottawa Ontario's The Red Rails in support of their new album A Living Fiction along with the extraordinarily talented local London openers The Creekside Strays and Defcon Brown. This is a spectacular show to get any rock n' roll fan through the week!!

The Red Rails: In a shotgun shack in the sub-zero depths of the Ottawa winter, The Red Rails began, with vocalist and guitarist Kim Vincent, bassist Chris Slaney and drummer Steve Brogno as its constituent parts. Since then, they’ve roamed the landscape like a pack of wolves, challenging audiences with their feral rock intensity and a taste for blood.
Their debut full-length album, A Living Fiction, is a rare beast. The songs pummel forward with muscular precision until either transcending to moments of melodic power or unraveling into anarchy. The first single from the album, On the Line, is a fine example, and its official video showcases the band’s frenetic edge, with Kim lacerating his guitar between vocal assaults on the mic. They’ve been compared to Them Crooked Vultures, Alice in Chains, and Death From Above 1979.
This summer, The Red Rails will be on the hunt for fresh ears with a tour of Eastern Canada, beginning with the RBC Ottawa Bluesfest on Sunday, July 13. Come see them in your town if you’re prepared to look this rock and roll animal right in the eyes.

Creekside Strays: The Stray’s fusion of alternative rock n' soul contains the wandering spirit of Pearl Jam, the wild-eyed abandon of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and the mystic attitude of the Dave Matthews Band, and their songs resonate with anyone who’s familiar with the unmistakable feeling of putting needle to wax. They are making music that rekindles a return to pure, dynamic songwriting with heart and purpose, a process deeply rooted in the songwriting traditions of journeymen like Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, and Tom Petty, but also possess a modern flare by dressing up their melodies and hooks with a bluesy desperation.

Defcon Brown: Homegrown Rock n' Roll, come check out the new kids on the block
